Sorted Build

Sorted Build

A new Shopify store, a redesign, or a migration. Handed over inside your own account.

A Shopify store built or rebuilt by people who run one. Fixed scope, fixed price, fixed date, and everything delivered inside your own Shopify account.

Who it is for

A store that has outgrown the theme it launched on. A brand moving to Shopify from another platform. A founder who has the product and the audience and needs the shop to stop losing them.

What is included

  • A theme built or customised for your catalogue, not a template with your logo dropped in.
  • Catalogue work: products, variants, collections, metafields and the structure underneath them.
  • Product page content: what a buyer needs to read before deciding, written and laid out.
  • Cart, offers and checkout flow, set up and tested with real orders.
  • Apps chosen on merit, and the ones you do not need removed.
  • Shipping, taxes and payments configured and tested.
  • Search visibility basics: titles, descriptions, structured data, redirects on a migration.
  • Product feeds and pixels, verified with real events rather than assumed.
  • Email flows for the first order and the second one.
  • Analytics you can read, and a walkthrough of it before we finish.

How it runs

  1. Scope. One page: what is being built, what it costs, when it lands, what is not included.
  2. Deposit. Fifty percent on signing. We start the same week.
  3. Build. Work happens on a duplicated theme or a development store, so nothing touches your live shop until you have seen it. You see progress every two to three days and can react while changing things is cheap.
  4. Review. Two revision rounds are included.
  5. Launch. A launch checklist, analytics verified, then we publish together. The balance is due on delivery.

Price and timing

Typically 2,500 to 7,500 United States dollars, in seven to fourteen working days. A rebuild of an existing store sits at the lower end. A new store or a migration with a large catalogue sits at the upper end. You get the number in writing before you commit to anything.

If you bought a Sorted Audit, the full audit fee comes off the build price within sixty days.

What you own

Everything. The store is in your Shopify account from the first day. The theme is yours, the code is yours, the accounts are yours. There is no agency licence to keep paying and nothing that stops working if you stop working with us.

Start

Write to hello@sortedcommerce.com with your store address, what you are trying to fix, and a budget band. We answer within two working days and we will tell you plainly if we are not the right people for it.

What a build includes

The store, not just the theme.

Everything below is inside the fixed price unless the scope says otherwise.

Theme and structure

A Sorted theme set up for your brand, or your existing Online Store 2.0 theme rebuilt. Home, collection, product, cart and the pages that carry the offer.

Catalogue and content

Products, variants, options, metafields and collections modelled properly, so filters, feeds and templates all read from one structure instead of guessing.

Everything after the buy button

Payments, shipping, taxes and checkout settings, Google and Meta feeds, analytics and events verified with real orders before we publish.

Build brief

Tell us about the store.

We come back with a written scope, a price and a date. Nothing starts until you say yes to that page.

  • We answer within one working day
  • Fixed scope, fixed price, fixed dates
  • Two revision rounds written into every scope
  • You own everything at the end

If a migration is involved, tell us how many products and which platform you are on now.

We use what you send here to answer you and nothing else.

Build questions

Before you brief us.

See every question
Who owns the work?

You do. It is built in your own Shopify account, in your own theme. Nothing is rented from us.

Do I have to use a Sorted theme?

No, but it is the fastest and cheapest route because the theme is already built. We work in any Online Store 2.0 theme.

How does payment work?

Half on signing the scope, half on delivery. No hourly billing and no surprise invoices.

What about migrations?

WooCommerce, Magento, Wix and Squarespace to Shopify, quoted on catalogue size. Redirects and SEO carry over as part of the scope.

How many revisions?

Two rounds, written into the scope. Anything past that is priced before we do it.

What happens after launch?

Take it and run, or move onto a Grow month. There is no lock in either way.
